One of the awesome things about our blogging challenge is that we are not the only kids doing it! Students from all over the world are blogging. Visit Two Writing Teachers and scroll to the comments. Each comment is a link for a classroom blogging. You can click on the link to read the posts and respectfully comment. Click HERE.

During the month of March, please visit our Kidblog page to read our students' blog posts and comment on them! Thank you for your support!
Dear Families,
I am very excited to announce our class will be participating in a blogging challenge for the month of March! The challenge is sponsored by The Two Writing Teachers blog, which is a blog for teachers from grades K-8th grade. I am proud to be one of the co-authors of this blog. Educators are challenging themselves to blog each day in March and classrooms are also taking part! Students will have opportunities to blog here at school and also at home. Here are the steps for them to access their blog:
I really encourage families to join us by reading blog posts and writing positive comments. Directions will be sent home soon to sign up for Kidblog in order to comment. To encourage students to want to blog and continue blogging each day, students will have the opportunity to earn badges! I will let you know more about that in the next few days. If 5 badges are earned, students will receive a certificate. If students earn 7 or more badges, they will be entered into a raffle to receive prizes! If there are issues connecting with Kidblog at home, or if your child will be away on a trip, blogging can be done in the paper provided in the packet as a substitute for those times. The hope is to get students writing! Blogging is an exciting way to connect with other writers, but paper can certainly be used if technology is not available. I am eagerly awaiting this challenge and the growth it will bring us all as writers! I am participating too and warming up those writing muscles! My best, Mrs. Sokolowski |
